Charity Tonelli is a highly experienced and passionate attorney who founded Tonelli Law in 2015. Charity has dedicated her career to fighting for the rights of others. At Tonelli Law, she focuses her practice on criminal defense and personal injury cases, using her extensive litigation experience to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Charity’s passion for defending the rights of others began early in life, and she pursued this passion by attending Barry School of Law. During her time in law school, she volunteered with the Juvenile Life without Parole Defense Fund and interned for the State Attorney’s Office, where she earned several “book awards” for achieving the highest grade in several classes, including Florida Criminal Procedure.

After graduating from law school with Honors in Trial Advocacy and Honors in Children & Family Law, Charity worked as a Prosecutor in Orange and Osceola Counties, where she prosecuted thousands of criminal cases. During her time as a Prosecutor, she tried dozens of cases to jury verdict, gaining valuable experience and insights into the criminal justice system.

Today, Charity uses her experience as a trial attorney to fight for her clients’ personal rights and liberty. She is dedicated to zealously representing clients charged with criminal offenses ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies punishable by life imprisonment.

In addition to her legal practice, Charity is committed to giving back to her community. She is a former Board Member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and former Board Member of the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new destinations.
